1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Reef Focus, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.
2. App Store license
Reef Focus is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom license is provided in the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies and is incorporated into these terms. If these terms conflict with Apple’s required terms, the applicable Apple terms control.
3. Productivity tools
Timers, goals, reminders, streaks, trends, Screen Time controls, study suggestions, pet unlocks, and summaries are productivity aids. They may be delayed, interrupted, recalculated, or unavailable because of device state, permissions, iOS behavior, connectivity, or service changes. Do not rely on Reef Focus for emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, or financial decisions.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Where offered, Reef+ subscriptions, trials, lifetime access, and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. Prices, duration, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and included features are shown before purchase in your App Store region.
Subscriptions renew according to the terms displayed by Apple unless canceled through your Apple Account settings. You can manage subscriptions in iOS Settings and restore eligible purchases inside Reef Focus. Apple controls billing and refund decisions; refund requests should be made through Apple’s services.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Reef Focus, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits, abuse support channels, use Study Groups to harass others, or use the app in violation of law or another person’s rights. You are responsible for content, names, attachments, and group invitations you create or share.
6. Third-party and Apple services
Some features rely on Apple iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit, Screen Time, MapKit, notifications, Apple Intelligence, and other system services, as well as limited external services such as Open-Meteo. Those services have their own terms and may change or become unavailable independently of Reef Focus.
7. Features, pets, and availability
Reef Focus may add, change, suspend, or remove features, offers, challenges, visual effects, or limited companions. We do not guarantee that every cosmetic or feature will remain available indefinitely. We will aim to preserve earned progress and purchase access where reasonably possible.
8. Intellectual property
Reef Focus, its artwork, marine companions, branding, interface, text, and software are owned by or licensed to the Reef Focus team and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant only the limited personal-use license described above.
9. Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reef Focus is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Reef Focus team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Reef Focus at any time. We may restrict access to connected or collaborative features if necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Changes and contact
